Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Yoga is fluid and creative, pairing rhythmic breathing with movement to strengthen + energise. This is a high energy session, providing a great workout as well as ending with grounding movements to ensure you leave feeling connected to yourself and your mat.

Unwind

Wind down and re-energise! We begin with a juicy warm-up, targeting tension in the shoulders and neck, and flow through some sun salutation variations to settle into the body, find our rhythm, breath, and calm the monkey mind.

The second half of the practice is yin and restorative inspired with mainly seated or reclined asanas (postures) held for longer periods of time. This practice gives us the opportunity to go deeper, with more space to focus on the breath as an anchor in meditation, and to explore physical and emotional sensations that arise.

You will walk out feeling grounded, balanced and relaxed.

What inspired you to become an instructor?
I firstly wanted to deepen my own understanding of the practice, but after a teaching a few cover classes here and there I knew I wanted to continue to share my love for yoga. Yoga provides the tools to become more resilient and mindful in connecting with ourselves and those around us which I believe is invaluable in daily life.

What's your favourite thing about teaching?
Yoga is a very personal practice, and the same class can land very differently for each participant. I enjoy the connection yoga creates and seeing people grow in confidence and feel empowered as they discover what they are actually capable of.

What do you love about CS?
Everyone at CS is warm and welcoming, whether you have been part of the community for years or are setting your foot into the space for the first time. In a supportive atmosphere like that, you know you can show up as yourself - whether you are on the teachers mat or practicing/working out!

500hr YA certified Yoga Teacher
